Dr. Ginger Johnson graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She bought The Veterinary Centre of Cape Elizabeth in 2012 from the former owner, Dr. Lynda Bond. As a 1992 graduate of CEHS, Dr. Johnson is thrilled to be practicing, living and raising her family in her hometown. A dedicated veterinarian, her special interests include: dentistry, rehabilitation, genetic health, pediatrics, and geriatric care. Dr. Johnson is also one of over 1300 certified veterinary rehabilitators in the country.
Nina Morris, DVM, TCVM
Dr. Nina Morris graduated from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 after completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree at Tufts University. She practiced both large and small animal medicine in Maine until 2009 when she relocated to Florida with her family. Now back in Maine and living in Cape Elizabeth with her 2 sons, husband, and canine companions, Sophie and Lucy, she is thrilled to be a veterinarian on the VRCCE team. Dr. Morris loves patient centered medicine and is always happy to get to know new furry friends and their families. When not practicing medicine, she can be found playing with her family or pounding the pavement in beautiful Cape Elizabeth.

Jessica graduated from Wheaton College in 2006 with a degree in Psychobiology and she is currently pursuing her online degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster. Jessica has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, a passion for caring for wildlife, and hopes to become certified in wildlife rehabilitation in the near future. Jessica has dedicated her life to animal welfare, with over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, and she is also a talented artist! She paints, sings, plays several musical instruments, and participates in local theater.
Kelly Larochelle, LVT
Kelly was born and raised in Maine and has always had a love for nature and the sciences. She graduated from University of New England with a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Biology in 2012, and graduated from Penn Foster College with her Associate’s in Veterinary Technology in 2020. She has worked in Veterinary hospitals since 2012, and has dedicated her working life to animals. She has a soft spot for senior citizen pets, and a special interest in pet nutrition. In her free time you can find her hiking with her black lab, Presence, baking AMAZING goodies, playing video games, or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea.
Liz Clifford
Originally from New Jersey, Liz and her family moved to Cumberland when she was 9, and she quickly fell in love with horses and the countryside. After graduating from Greeley High, Liz attended Centenary University in New Jersey where she earned her BS in Equine Studies. Since returning to Maine she has graduated from the Veterinary Technician degree program at YCCC. Liz loves soccer, horses and all things pet related.
Grace Byrne
Grace Byrne
Grace earned her BA in Geography and Environmental Studies in 2020 from Bishop’s University in Quebec. She is currently in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technology program to become a licensed vet tech. She volunteers with the MSSPA in Windham helping with the horses in the shelter and where she is also an epic fundraiser. Grace lives locally with 3 horses, her cat Rita, and a rabbit named Pip.

Camille graduated from UNE in 1993 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She has used her skills in various settings, and has worked in Home Health Care for 18 years. Camille has been raising puppies for Guiding Eyes For the Blind in NY for 14 years. She has fulfilled a long-time dream of working with dogs by obtaining a Certified Canine Animal Therapist certification from North Carolina State University.

Darci is the newest member of the VRCCE canine rehab team. She joins us from the human field of physical therapy, and is enjoying her ongoing studies to become certified in animal rehab as well.

Kristen Horrigan - Practice Manager
Kristen graduated from University of New England in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. She joins VRCCE with experience in animal care having owned and managed a professional pet care service including canine obedience/behavior training. Kristen is an AKC certified obedience trainer and Pet First Aid and CPR certified. She loves her chihuahua Vinny and a Maine coon cat Jobin that are all full of personality. Kristen also enjoys traveling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, art and film, and is a Halloween enthusiast.

Tamara has been living in Maine for 12 years and has been working in the veterinary community for almost as long. She received her degree in English and Creative Writing from University of Southern Maine. After a brief break she is extremely happy to be back, working with such an awesome crew at Vet and Rehab. She loves being a part of this community and helping pets and their people! She also enjoys hanging out with her family, reading, and trivia.

Lisa graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She has worked selling air time on radio stations throughout the U.S., in the music industry in band management and as an executive for a music retail chain. Her volunteer efforts have been focused on food insecurity, civil rights, and the care and foster of shelter dogs. Lisa enjoys photography and spending time exploring Maine with her family and her dog Tripp.

After devoting 11 years to the United States Air Force, Michelle returned home to southern Maine where she grew up. She attended York County Community College and completed her veterinary technology degree in 2021. Michelle loves photography, sports, animals, and anything medical related. She stays busy with her significant other, 2 dogs, two cats, two children, and lots of family. She joins our team as a receptionist with the knowledge of a technician.
